It is the first single from their album Cavalier Youth. Following its release on iTunes, it debuted at Number 1 on the iTunes chart, their only song to do so. However, "Lived A Lie" debuted at Number 11 on the UK Singles Chart on the week ending 14 September 2013 due to lack of sales following from its release, making it their highest chart position in their home country to date.
