Lore Noto (June 9, 1923 – July 8, 2002), born Lorenzo Noto,[1] was an American theatrical producer, playwright and actor, best known as the producer of the longest-running musical in history, The Fantasticks, which he produced for more than 40 years off-Broadway.[2][3][4] He was also known for writing and producing the 1965 musical adaptation of The Yearling.[5]
