Lori Michelle Chavez-DeRemer (born April 7, 1968)[1] is an American politician. As a member of the Republican Party, she represents Oregon's 5th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives.[2]

Chavez-DeRemer was elected to the city council of Happy Valley, Oregon in 2004. She was elected mayor in 2010 and served as mayor until 2018.

She was elected in 2022 to represent the people of Oregon's 5th congressional district. She is the first Republican woman to represent Oregon in the House.
