A pop and R&B track, the song was written by Puth, 3Racha, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Natalie Salomon, and Johnny Goldstein with production from Puth and Goldstein, and talks about the feeling of meeting a love interest for the first time, which is compared to the inability to breathe. Commercially, "Lose My Breath" peaked at number 90 on the Billboard Hot 100, and number 97 on the UK Singles Chart.^[1]
