Love Insurance Kompany (abbreviated as lik) is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language science fiction romantic comedy film[6] directed by Vignesh Shivan. It is jointly produced by Rowdy Pictures and Seven Screen Studio. The film stars Pradeep Ranganathan, S. J. Suryah and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles, alongside Yogi Babu, Mysskin, Seeman, Anandaraj, Malavika, Sunil Reddy, Gouri G. Kishan, Sha Ra and Muhammed Rasool. It follows a boy, who time travels to 2035, through a mobile gadget, for his love.
Initially, Sivakarthikeyan was cast to play in the lead role. Following an announcement in March 2019, principal photography was scheduled to commence in July; however, the film got shelved. In 2023, the film was revived with Pradeep, with an announcement in September 2023 under the tentative title Wikki 6, as it is Vignesh's 6th film as the director, and the official title, Love Insurance Corporation, was announced in December 2023. Principal photography commenced the following month. It was shot in several locations including Coimbatore, Udumalaipettai, Singapore and Malaysia. In July, however, the official title was changed to Love Insurance Kompany, due to copyright issues claimed by S. S. Kumaran and Life Insurance Corporation. The technical crew includes musician Anirudh Ravichander, cinematographers Sathyan Sooryan and Ravi Varman,[a] and editor Pradeep E. Ragav.
