Lower Brule (Lakota: Khulwíčhaša[5]) is a census-designated place (CDP) in Lyman County, South Dakota, United States. The population was 703 at the 2020 census.[6] The community is located within the Lower Brule Indian Reservation, from which it takes its name.[7]
