Luz Adriana Camargo Garzón (c. 1965) is a Colombian lawyer specializing in criminal law and criminology studied law at the University of La Sabana from 1997 to 2004 and served as an assistant magistrate in the Criminal Cassation Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice. From 2014 to 2017 he was part of the investigative team of the International Commission against Impunity in Guatemala of the United Nations Organization where he worked alongside Iván Velásquez Gómez who was the chief investigator. On March 12, 2024, she would be elected as the new Attorney General of Colombia, after being nominated by President Gustavo Petro,[1] and later on March 22, 2024, she would assume the position.[2][3]
