Lynda "Lindy" Blanchard (born July 4, 1959) is an American businesswoman, diplomat, and political candidate who served as the United States Ambassador to Slovenia from 2019 until 2021, serving under former President Donald Trump and his administration.[1][2] She was a candidate in the 2022 Alabama gubernatorial election, losing to incumbent governor Kay Ivey in the Republican primary, having switched to that race from the Senate election.
