Mahmood Lebbe Aalim Muhammad Hizbullah (born 2 February 1963) is one of Sri Lankan most senior and prominent Muslim politicians, with a career spanning over 37 years since 1989. Hizbullah has held multiple significant Government positions, including Governor of the Eastern Province, Sri Lanka, Cabinet Minister, State Minister, Deputy Minister, and Chairman of various Government departments. He has also represented South Asia as a member of The Muslim League, contributing to both national and regional political landscapes. He was a minor presidential candidate in the 2019 presidential elections.
