Rear Admiral Mohammad Sohail (TAS), NUP, PPM, psc, BN was a former two-star admiral in Bangladesh Navy.[1][2] His last appointment was Chairman of Chattogram Port Authority.[3] Prior to join here he was Chairman of Payra Port Authority.[4] Before that, he was serving as the Director of Submarine at the Navy Headquarters.[5]
Sohail also served as Director of Naval Intelligence and commanded BNS Haji Mohshin while he was Commodore. He was served as a commander of Naval Training and Doctrine Command.[6]
He was later sacked from the Bangladesh Navy due to corruption, Destroying careers of good officers, non judicial killing and "Aynaghor" incident.[7]
