Mahesh Kothe (born 1 April 1968) is an Indian politician from Maharashtra.[1] He is from Padmashali Community. He is a five times Corporator for the Solapur Municipal Corporation and a member of the Nationalist Congress Party, contesting elections from Solapur City North constituency.
The 2024 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election featured 589 candidates from all major parties in the state. Mahesh Kothe contested the north Solapur seat on an NCP ticket. The NCP, a very selective party, released its list of 45 candidates just a month before the election.[2]
The 2019 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election featured Shri Mahesh Kothe running as an independent candidate, supported in the campaign by film industry celebrities such as Sneha Ullal and Brahmanandam.[3]
