Mahibere Kidusan (Ge'ez: ማህበረ ቅዱሳን) is a sect of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church formed in 1985 by university students and members of Sunday school with the aim to preserve religious tradition during the Derg era. It emerged as powerful association trained by Zeaway Hammer Berehan St.[1][2] They are actively working with the government offices, including high-ranking political positions. As an educated class, most of Ethiopian diaspora belonged to this group.[3]
