Malik Tidderious Newman[1] (born February 21, 1997) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Jilin Northeast Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). He played college basketball for the Kansas Jayhawks and the Mississippi State Bulldogs. He attended Callaway High School in Jackson, Mississippi. He helped lead Callaway to four straight victories in the MHSAA Class 5A boys basketball championship.[2][3] As a senior his jersey number 14 was retired by the school.[4][5]
