Mamata Mohanta is an Indian politician. She was a member of parliament in Rajya Sabha the upper house of Indian Parliament from Odisha as a member of the Biju Janata Dal. She has been re-elected unopposed to Rajya Sabha on 27th August 2024 as a member of Bhartiya Janata Party.
She was declared elected unopposed among the four candidates for the four seats from Odisha in the 2020 Rajysabha Elections. She resigned from BJD and Joined BJP. She also resigned as Rajya Sabha MP.[1][2]
