Marina South Pier station in Singapore

Marina South Pier MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station in Straits View, Singapore, which is operated by SMRT Trains.[3] Built as part of the 1-kilometre (0.62 mi) North South line (NSL) Extension, it is the southern terminus of the line. As the name suggests, the station is next to Marina South Pier and near the (about a 5 minute walk from Marina South Pier station) Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore.

The extension, first announced as part of the 2008 Land Transport Master Plan, was completed on 22 November 2014. The station features two Art-in-Transit artworks, one of which – Singapore Tapestry – was commissioned as part of the Land Transport Authority's (LTA) gift to Singapore on the nation's 50th anniversary.
