Marisa Howard (/məˈrɪsə/ mə-RISS; née Marisa Vander Malle, born August 10, 1992)[1][2] is an American athlete who specializes in the 3000 metres steeplechase. In 2024, Howard qualified for the Olympic Games in Paris by placing third at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials in the 3000 meters steeplechase. [3] During the 2024 Paris Olympics, Howard placed seventh in the Round 1, Heat 3 with a time of 9:24.78. [4]

Representing Team USA, Howard placed 4th in 3000 m steeplechase at the 2023 Pan American Games[5] and she won the silver medal in the women's 3000 metres steeplechase at the 2019 Pan American Games held in Lima, Peru.[6][7][8]
