Martz Schmidt or Schmidt is the pseudonym of the Spanish comic author Gustavo Martínez Gómez (Cartagena, Murcia,[1] 3 July 1922 -Barcelona, 5 January 1998). He is part of the second generation the Bruguera school alongside Figueras, Gin, Ibáñez, Nadal, Segura, Raf or Vázquez.
