Mary Anne Trump (née MacLeod; Scottish Gaelic: Màiri Anna Nic Leòid [ˈmaːɾʲɪ ˈan̪ˠa ɲiçkʲ ˈʎɔːtʲ]; May 10, 1912 – August 7, 2000) was a Scottish-American socialite and philanthropist. She was the wife of the real-estate developer Fred Trump and the mother of Donald Trump, the 45th president of the United States and the current president-elect.

Born in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, MacLeod immigrated to the U.S. in 1930 and became a naturalized citizen in March 1942.[1] She raised five children with her husband and lived in New York City.[2]
