Maryanne Connelly (born October 6, 1945) is a Democratic politician in New Jersey and the former Mayor of Fanwood, New Jersey. She has also twice unsuccessfully sought a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.[1] Her candidacy became one of the most publicized competitive races in the United States House of Representatives elections, 2000.[2]
