Masuda (益田市, Masuda-shi) is a city located in Shimane Prefecture, Japan. As of 31 July 2023[update], the city had an estimated population of 43,885 in 21249 households and a population density of 60 persons per km2.[1] The total area of the city is 733.19 square kilometres (283.09 sq mi).
