Matthew Thomas Schobel (/ˈʃbəl/; born November 4, 1978) is an American former professional football player who was a tight end in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the third round of the 2002 NFL draft. He played college football for the TCU Horned Frogs (TCU).

Schobel was also a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. Matt is the younger brother of former defensive end Aaron Schobel and the cousin of former defensive end Bo Schobel.[1]
