Matthew S. LoPresti is an American politician who served as a member of the Hawaii House of Representatives for District 41 (Ewa, Ewa Beach, Ewa Gentry, Ewa Villages, Hoakalei, Ocean Pointe). He previously served from January 2015 to January 2019.[1] He was a candidate for state Senate 19th district in 2018.[2]

In January 2021, LoPresti helped found the bicameral Progressive Legislative Caucus and served as its chair.[3]

He was defeated in the 2022 elections by Republican David Alcos.
