Matthew Maher (born April 13, 1984) is an American retired soccer defender, who was sentenced to five and a half years in prison for first degree aggravated manslaughter and drunken driving after pleading guilty in court on May 7, 2009. He was released from prison on August 3, 2014, and is currently living as a pastor.
