Matthew Joseph Thaddeus Stepanek (July 17, 1990 – June 22, 2004), known as Mattie Stepanek, was an American poet. He wanted to be remembered as a poet, peacemaker and philosopher who played[2] and printed seven best-selling books of poetry and peace essays. Before he died at the age of 13, he'd become known as a peace advocate & motivational speaker.
