Maurice de Hond

Maurice de Hond (born 8 October 1947) is a Dutch pollster and entrepreneur. He is the founder of the Steve JobsSchool,[1] an elementary school which gives each student an iPad to encourage individualized learning.[2] As of 2016, 35 public schools in the Netherlands adopted the school model.[3] Two Steve JobsSchools opened in South Africa in 2016.[4] The schools closed after a negative report by government educational inspectors found that students who graduated the schools were lacking severely in educational skills and the foundation running the schools declared bankruptcy in 2018.
