Mohammad Abdul Mubeen (Bengali: মুহাম্মদ আব্দুল মুবিন; born 10th March 1957) is a retired Bangladeshi army officer who served as the chief of army staff of the Bangladesh Army from 2009 to 2012.[2][3] Prior to his appointment as chief of army staff, Abdul Mubeen served as principal staff officer of the Armed Forces Division. He served as general officer commanding of two divisions: the 24th Infantry Division and the 55th Infantry Division. He retired from the army in 2012, after serving as army chief.
He was the chairman and nominated director of United Power Generation & Distribution Company Limited.[4]
