Mehranrud-e Jonubi Rural District (Persian: دهستان مهرانرود جنوبي)[3] is in the Central District of Bostanabad County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Hajj Aqa.[5] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Kargan-e Qadim.[6]
