Meir "Zarro" Zorea MC (Hebrew: מאיר זורע, born Meyer Zarodinsky (Hebrew: מאיר זארודינסקי) on 14 March 1923, died 24 June 1995) was a general in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and later a member of the Knesset. He earned distinction through his combat actions in World War II and in the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. He was a founder of Democratic Movement for Change, an initially successful but short-lived centrist party.[1]
