Menards (/məˈnɑːrdz/ mə-NARDZ) is an American home improvement retail chain headquartered in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Menards is owned by founder John Menard Jr. through his privately held company, Menard, Inc. With 351 stores in 15 U.S. states (primarily in the Midwest), Menards is the third-largest home improvement store in the United States, behind Lowe's and The Home Depot.[1]
