Menippe and Metioche

In Greek mythology, Menippe (/mɪˈnɪp/; Ancient Greek: Μενίππη, romanizedMeníppē, lit.'courageous mare,[1] sipper[2]') and Metioche (Ancient Greek: Μητιόχη, romanizedMētióchē) were daughters of Orion. They feature in a brief myth about human sacrifice.
