Messar ag Amayas (ruled c. 1941 – 1955) was the Amenokal, or ruler, of the Kel Ahaggar, a Tuareg confederation in present-day Algeria. His reign bridged the end of French colonial rule and the early years of Algerian independence.[1][2]
