Michael J. Lutton[1] is a United States Air Force lieutenant general who has served as the deputy commander of Air Force Global Strike Command since February 2024. He most recently served as commander of the Twentieth Air Force from 2020 to 2024. Previously, he was the Deputy Director for Nuclear and Homeland Defense Operations of the Joint Staff.[2][3][4][5][6][7]

In July 2023, Lutton was nominated for promotion to lieutenant general and assignment as deputy commander of Air Force Global Strike Command.[8][9]
