Count Mikhail Nikolayevich Sumarokov-Elston (Russian: Михаил Николаевич Сумароков-Эльстон, IPA: [mʲɪxɐˈil nʲɪkɐˈlajɪvʲɪtɕ sʊmɐˈrokəf ˈɛlʲstən]; French: Michel de Soumarokoff-Elston;[3][4] 1893 or 1894[a] – 3 July 1970) was a Russian tennis player. He competed in two events at the 1912 Summer Olympics.[5] Apart from his supremacy in the Russian national championships he was a Maltese champion and various French Riviera titleholder.[1]
