Mikkel Bjerg (born 3 November 1998 in Copenhagen) is a Danish cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam UAE Team Emirates.[4] Bjerg won the under-23 individual time trial at the UCI Road World Championships in 2017, 2018 and 2019 – becoming the first rider to win multiple under-23 time trial world titles. He is the current (as of 2019) holder of the Danish hour record.[5] Bjerg married cyclist Emma Norsgaard in 2021.[6]
The team has announced eight riders so far for the 2018 roster, including João Almeida from Portugal, William Barta from the US, U23 time trial world champion Mikkel Bjerg from Denmark, Cole Davis from the US, Zeke Mostov from the US, Jasper Philipsen from Belgium, Thomas Revard from the US and Maikel Zijlaard from the Netherlands.
