The Military Security Shield Forces (Arabic: قوات درع الأمن العسكري, romanized: Quwat Dir’ al-Amn al-Askari),[2] also called the Military Intelligence Shield Force[5] or simply Military Shield,[7] is a pro-government militia involved in the Syrian Civil War that is affiliated with the Military Intelligence Directorate.
