Milton Shain (born 1949) is a South African historian. He specialises in South African Jewish history and the history of antisemitism. He was Director of the Isaac and Jessie Kaplan Centre for Jewish Studies and Research at the University of Cape Town until his retirement at the end of 2014.[1][2] He sits on the advisory board of the Cape Town Holocaust Centre and in 2014 he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of South Africa.[3]
