Maurice "Mo" Green is the Superintendent-elect of Public Instruction of North Carolina. He was elected to that office for a four-year term in November 2024.[1]
"Green previously served as the superintendent of Guilford County Public Schools, the third largest district in the state with more than 70,000 students, as well as the Winston-Salem-based Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation....Green holds undergraduate and law degrees from Duke University."[2]
