Mocorito (Spanish pronunciation: [mo.koˈɾi.to]) (From Cahita, meaning "place where people speak macuri (dialect of Mayo)" or "place of the dead"[2]) is the municipality seat of the Municipality of Mocorito in the Mexican state of Sinaloa.
