Molasur is a village in Kancheepuram District, Tamil Nadu, India, near Sunguvarchathram. It is located 24 km (15 mi) east of the district headquarters of Kanchipuram, 5 km (3.1 mi) from Sriperumbudur, and 50 km (31 mi) from the state capital Chennai. Molasur is administered by a village panchayat. Sogandi and Nandimedu are nearby villages belonging to Molasur Panchayat.
