Moneyneany or Moneyneena (locally [ˌmʌniˈnini], [ˌmʌniˈniːnə], and [ˌmʌniˈiːnə]; from Irish Móin na nIonadh, meaning 'bog of wonders')[1][2][3] is a small village and townland in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 162.[4] It is situated within Mid-Ulster District.The Douglas River a tributary to the Moyola River flows through the village.
