Monireh Gorji (Persian: منیره گرجی) is an Iranian teacher[3] and mujtahid.[2] She was the only woman to be elected to the 73-seats Assembly of Experts for Constitution in 1979.[3] The Assembly of Experts is a framework of Iran that is responsible for electing and overseeing the Supreme Leader.
