Morek (Arabic: مورك, also spelled Murik, Mork, or Murak) is a Syrian town located in the Suran Subdistrict in Hama District. According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Morek had a population of 14,307 in the 2004 census.[1]

Morek is the center of the country's pistachio production.[2] Through Morek, passes the M5 highway which connects Hama with Aleppo.[3]
