Mosharraf Hossain is a former Bangladeshi boxer who won the first ever medal for Bangladesh in 1986 Asian Games.[1] He won bronze medal in light heavyweight (81 kg) event. He also won a gold medal in the 1985 South Asian Games.[2] Hossain was awarded the 1999 National Sports Awards.[3]
Boxing is the only event that gave Bangladesh an individual medal at the Asian Games when Mosharraf Hossain won a bronze in 1986 Seoul meet.

Ex-Boxer of Bangladesh Habilder Mossaraf Hossain in the year 1985 got gold in South Asian Games and in the year 1986 got bronze medal in 10th Asian Games held in Japan. In the year 1999 Government honoured him National Sports prize.
