The Municipality of Bovec (pronounced [ˈbɔːʋəts] or [ˈboːʋəts]; Slovene: Občina Bovec) is a municipality in northwestern Slovenia. Its center is the town of Bovec. As of June 2016[update], its mayor is Valter Mlekuž.
