The Arthur Warren murder was the killing of 26-year-old American Arthur Carl ("J.R.") Warren Jr. on July 4, 2000, by two male teens. According to Liz Seaton of the Human Rights Campaign, it had all the earmarks of a hate crime.[citation needed]
