The Murusade, (Somali: Murursade, Mursal; Arabic: مرسذه ,مرسل) also contemporarily known as Mursal, are a Somali subclan, part of the Karanle branch of the larger Hawiye Clan. They primarily reside in the central regions of Somalia, particularly in the Galgaduud,[1][2] Lower Shabelle,[3] Middle Shabelle[4][2] and Banadir regions.

The Mursal traditionally consists of nomadic pastoralists, coastal people, merchants and farmers. They are historically viewed as an affluent clan.[citation needed] They are also one of the earliest inhabitants of Mogadishu, the capital city of Somalia.[5]
