Nakagawa (那珂川市, Nakagawa-shi) is a city located in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan.[1][2] The city was founded on October 1, 2018, making it the newest city in Japan. As of 31 March 2024[update], the city had an estimated population of 49,400 in 21613 households, and a population density of 660 persons per km².[3] The total area is 74.95 km2 (28.94 sq mi).[4]
