The Nalut Dinosaur Museum is a paleontological museum located in Nalut, Libya.[1] The fossils, which date from the Cretaceous period,[1][2] were discovered by a joint expedition of Libyan geologists and American paleontologists.[1][3] The collection is housed in a wing of the Red Crescent building in Nalut.[1]
Thus, although Cretaceous terrestrial sediments are common in Libya, dinosaurs from the nation remain virtually unknown.
