Nanbu (南部町, Nanbu-chō) is a town located in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 June 2019[update], the town had an estimated population of 7222 in 3149 households,[1] and a population density of 36 persons per km2. The total area of the town is 200.63 square kilometres (77.46 sq mi).
