Nayeemul Islam Khan (Bengali: নাঈমুল ইসলাম খান; born 1960), is a media personality in Bangladesh who had been active in Bangladeshi journalism since 1982. He was the press secretary to the former prime ministerc of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina. Prior to his appointment at the Prime Minister's Office, Mr. Khan worked as the emeritus editor of the Bengali-language daily Amader Notun Shomoy, daily Amader Orthoneeti and English-language daily The Our Time.[1][2]
He is best known for his introduction of the modern approach of Bengali daily newspapers with the illustrated daily, Ajker Kagoj, launched in 1990. Shortly after, he published the newspaper Daily Bhorer Kagoj.
He was also the founding editor of the popular daily Amader Shomoy in 2003. He frequently appears on TV talk-shows since 2007.
